Instructions

• Download latest graphite-2-x-bin-windows.tar.gz from InriaGforge
• Unpack graphite-2-x-bin-windows.tar.gz (any recent compression program should handle this, if you don't have one, try the freeware IZArc )
• graphite.exe is in the bin subdirectory.

Known problems

• When starting Graphite, if it says that "the application is not properly installed", this means you need to install a small package (6 Mb): Microsoft VC2008 redistributable runtime (just follow the instructions given in that link, this will install a couple of DLLs that contains the runtime for MSVC 2008).
• On some computers, you cannot quit Graphite properly (this freezes Graphite). Then you need to kill Graphite from the task manager (Fixed in alpha-2)
• The 3D window is not always refreshed (Fixed in alpha-2)
